Introduction of persian tablecloths
Pateh is a fabric on which different designs are sewn with a needle. The fabric on which the sewing is done is called “Areez”, which is made of thick wool, and the colorful threads are called “Ris”.
It is interesting to know that most of the “Pateh artists” in Kerman are women. Even the great master of this art was Mrs. Parveen Abbas Shirazi, who trained thousands of artists during her lifetime.

Dark colors were mostly used in original and old “peteh”. Colors such as dark green, dark red and black were seen more than other colors in “pete” roles. This darkness may be due to the hard life that the women Those who sewed patehs had in the past. Instead of talking about their pains and sufferings, they sewed them on cloth.
* How to maintain your “ Pateh “
Be sure to wash it with cold water and detergent without enzymes
To preserve the color of the pâté, do not place it in a place with a lot of sunlight.
